The Bright Star Responder can be powered by either a 4.8 volt Ni-Cad rechargeable battery pack (included) or 4 C-cell alkaline batteries. With the rechargeable pack, the Responder Division 2 provides more than 2 hours of continuous light and a quick charge time of 2 hours. Simply unscrew the battery cover, remove the rechargeable pack and replace it with 4 C-cell alkaline batteries. You immediately have 4 more hours of light output. The Responder is UL safety listed and has been designed to be lightweight and rugged. It is waterproof and weighs less than one pound. The responder can be carried comfortably in the hand, worn on a shoulder strap or clipped to a belt or pocket. The beam is pre-focused and the unit features two spare bulbs. An oversized push button switch allows easy, one-handed operation even when wearing gloves.
